People were safeguarded from the risk of abuse and staff understood their responsibilities to keep people safe from harm. Medicines were safely managed and risks posed to people were assessed and mitigated.
Staff told us the morale amongst the team was good... The home had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A staff member said, “It is like a second family. The managers are good; you can talk to them about anything.”
People were supported by enough staff, this included where people received 1:1 support. Staff were recruited safely, and all pre-employment checks were made prior to staff commencing work.
