Staffing is adequate with enough long serving staff, but they sometimes use workers from other services which might affect consistency.

One person told us, “Sometimes we have staff from a different service, they are also lovely and are quick to come if I call the bell”.

Training covers what staff need for the job with supervisions, but no specialist courses or funded qualifications mentioned.

All staff we spoke with told us they had the required training to carry out their roles safely and effectively. The training was both online and face to face.

There is a new activities coordinator and group sessions like gardening and music, but nothing specialist or innovative to make the role more varied.

The provider had recruited a new activities coordinater... several local providers visit the service to offer different activities and group sessions, some of these included gardening, exercise and music groups.
