Staff felt leaders were supportive and gave us examples of how leaders had supported people professionally and personally. Staff told us they felt supported and able to raise any concerns they had.

Staff schedules showed enough staff were deployed to promote people’s safety. A relative said, 'There are always enough staff when we have been, always someone to talk to as well.'

Staff were recruited safely and received appropriate training for their roles. Staff told us they received regular supervisions that were supportive.

The service had a positive culture and approachable management. Leaders supported people alongside staff to meet their day-to-day needs, this allowed them to model the behaviours and practices expected from staff.

People had regular opportunities to take part in activities they enjoyed such as bowling, visiting the cinema and arts and crafts. [Activities Coordinator] does colouring and jigsaws.
