Activities are limited and repetitive, so the role involves mostly routine care with few varied options especially in evenings.

We did note the activities for the 3 people we reviewed were limited and repetitive. We noted no-one went outside the home in the evening.

Some agency staff cover sickness shifts and they still struggle to recruit drivers which can limit outings.

All shifts were covered and if there was staff sickness the shift was covered with overtime or agency staff... the home still have trouble recruiting staff who drive.

Some training is still not fully up to date even though they have plans to finish it.

We reviewed the provider’s staff training matrix and noted most of the training had been completed. Where training was outstanding, the registered manager was aware of this and had plans to ensure the training would be completed in a timely manner.
