Staff felt encouraged to be open and supported to give feedback and were treated well when they did so. They were treated equally, free from bullying or harassment... One staff said, 'The managers are really good if you have a problem, they will sort it out. I feel proud to work at Oak Tree Lodge.'
We observed there to be enough staff to meet people’s needs... However, some staff felt they did not always have enough time to spend 1 to 1 time with people after their personal care was completed. It’s particularly concerning in the afternoon and at night.'

One staff member said, 'The training is good, we get some online and some face to face, the training applies to my role.'
Staff spoke highly of the registered manager. One said, '[Registered manager] is really friendly, confident and just a loving person. They really would do anything for anyone.'
