At the time of our inspection there was not a registered manager in post. The provider's quality assurance systems were not fully effective in identifying all concerns.

Risks like dehydration, constipation, and moving people were not always properly assessed or planned for.

Risks to people's safety had not always been safely managed. The failure to effectively assess, monitor and mitigate risks was a breach of Regulation 12.

Staffing is adequate but relies on agency workers, and staff and residents want more time together.

People and relatives told us there was enough staff to safely meet people's needs. However, some commented they would like staff to spend more time with them. The provider used agency staff.
