Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: activity staff were on leave. Staff had rallied round to put on activities for the residents. These were chair exercises, arts and crafts, and people singing along to golden oldies with the staff.

Residents say staff seem busy and overworked sometimes, even though call bells get answered promptly.

People told us they thought staff were very busy and there was a need for more staff. One person said, 'I don't think they have enough staff. Staff are overworked.'

Some risk assessments not fully updated and a medication error missed in audits.

Some care plans and risk assessments needed further development to ensure they accurately reflected people's current needs... a medicine had been signed as being administered but had not been given to the person. This error had happened two weeks earlier but had not been picked up in the management weekly audits.
