Whilst the administration of people's medicines was underway, we saw the door to the medicines room, and the medicines cabinets within this, were left unlocked.

We found hoist slings were shared amongst people living at the home, as opposed to being used by a named person. This does not reflect current best practice in the prevention and control of infection.
