The provider was not working in line with good practice guidance in all areas of medicines administration and management. They addressed this during our assessment and improved practice

Staff feedback was positive about leaders being supportive and approachable however there was a theme to feedback of staff wanting the management team to be more visible
The provider ran a selection of activities including 3 different exercise sessions each week. These included seated exercises, yoga and massage and tai chi. The provider also arranged themed events such as a 1950’s and a 1960’s barbeque
Some medication safety issues like risks for blood thinners not clearly recorded at first, even though fixed during inspection
We noted the provider was not working in line with best practice guidance when people took blood thinning medicines or used flammable emollients. Risks had been identified in both areas however these had not been clearly recorded on individual plans and assessments
