Working at Moultrie Road

Just basic group activities like games, trips, and themed events, so the job is mostly routine personal care.

People were encouraged to take part in organised group activities and events around Moultrie Road. These included social events, seasonal and religious events, and trips out and about. Other people did things alone, such as played games.

Enough staff daytime but only one at night, and they have used some temporary workers.

At night however, only one member of staff was in the home... provider had recently recruited several permanent members of staff to reduce their reliance on temporary, or part time staff.

Some lapses in infection control like not washing hands after gloves and dirty bathroom areas.

Staff were not always using hand gel or soap and water after removing gloves... Some areas of the home required more thorough cleaning as there was visible dirt, such as the second floor bathroom.
