Staff managed people's medicines safely; some minor improvements were needed; risks managed safely, safeguarding systems in place, environment checked regularly.

Staff told us management were approachable and supportive about both work and personal issues; 'The home is family orientated. People are treated well, and the staff team works well together.'

Staffing levels were appropriate to meet people's needs, but staff struggled to support people without rushing them when short staffed due to sickness or holidays.

Staff received an appropriate induction and completed the training necessary to meet people's needs and support them well; staff told us their training was up to date.

People and relatives told us they were very happy with the management of the service and staff found management approachable and supportive.
