Working at Moorgate Residential Home

People were protected from abuse because staff had good awareness... safeguarding adults training. Medicines were safely managed... computerised system with fail-safe... pharmacy review did not raise any significant concerns.

Staff all said there was a family atmosphere at the service in relation to people, their families and the staff team... 'The girls here are something else, have so much love for the residents'.

The registered manager was approachable and listened. Staff were actively involved in developing the service. Staff meetings took place regularly and staff felt able to discuss any issues.

The service employed three activity staff who prioritised that people had stimulation... monthly activity plan... pet guinea pigs... chickens... external outings... local school and college, Salvation army choir.
