Staffing is adequate but some say mornings feel stretched and they use agency workers to fill gaps.

We received mixed comments about staffing levels. They included, 'There seem to be fewer staff in the mornings, and they seem more stretched than they used to be.'; The registered manager told us there was an on-going recruitment drive and when needed, regular agency staff were used to fill any gaps in the staffing rota.

Only standard mandatory training and online courses, no specialist training or funded qualifications mentioned.

The training matrix showed good staff compliance with on-line training. New staff completed an induction, mandatory training and a period of shadowing more experienced staff when they first started working at the service. There was on-going supervision.
