People continued to be safe and protected from avoidable harm. The management team were keen to learn from incidents. There were systems in place to monitor and learn from accidents and incidents.

As well as mandatory training, staff also received specialist training for example, Parkinson's and diabetes. Staff told us they had regular supervision meetings with the manager to support their development.
The registered manager had clear oversight of the service and worked alongside staff. Staff were respectful of the register manager and told us they were approachable and supportive.
The service employed activity staff who supported people with activities. The service had close links with the local primary school and nursery. The service was in the process of implementing the Gold Standard Framework.
