Infection control problems like dirty bathrooms and equipment not stored right mean higher risk of outbreaks for you and residents.

We observed that bathrooms and equipment within these rooms were not cleaned effectively, for example shower heads were dirty with limescale and hair... Hoists and slings were not stored away to prevent the spread of infection.

Recruitment misses proper reference checks sometimes, so you might work with new staff whose backgrounds aren't fully checked.

Although references were in place, they were not always from the most appropriate people. So did not always give assurance of people's suitability.

Only basic activities like bingo and crafts with no coordinator or specialist programmes, so your days are mostly routine care.

During the inspection, activities included playing bingo, and doing arts and crafts. A local school were visiting the next day... quizzes and I go to church.
