Medicines weren't always stored or recorded safely at first, and mobility risks for two people were missed until inspectors pointed them out.

Medicines had not always been safely managed. We found medicines were not always stored safely and stock levels did not always correspond with the records... risks to two people’s mobility had not been fully considered.

Some residents felt there weren't always enough staff around, even though call bells were answered promptly and needs were met.

Although some people did not consider there were enough staff we saw evidence to confirm people’s needs were met effectively... call bells were answered in a timely manner.

Quality audits missed the medicine storage problems and mobility risk gaps, so checks aren't foolproof yet.
