A thorough induction process was in place with regular supervisions in place for all staff.
Leaders knew the staff group well and relationships between staff and leaders were positive. Leaders had practical experience of working alongside people, including personal care.
People were engaged in activities which met their individual needs and preferences. For example, one person was being supported to play a board game in a communal area, whilst another was reciting the names of objects on flash cards.
