Systems and processes to safeguard people from the risk of abuse… Care records included risk assessments… Regular auditing of medicines supported the management team to identify shortfalls and address them.

A staff member said, 'Honestly a caring home, run well with a good close team any issues are resolved quickly and professionally enabling us all to provide quality care with a positive work environment.'

There are occasionally staffing shortages, but they are always resolved… regular agency were used, which meant they knew the people who used the service.

Staff received the training they needed to meet people's needs effectively. Training was kept under review and refresher training was provided to ensure staff were kept up to date with requirements of their role.

Staff told us... 'Both manager and deputy are not above any job and will act when required as they genuinely put the residents first... I feel comfortable talking to the manager about anything, and [registered manager] definitely hears what I say.'

People had access to group activities 7 days a week, and 1 to 1 activities… observed a range of group activities, including… scrabble, a visiting entertainer… outings on a rickshaw and the minibus.
