Staff were positive about the changes in the management team at Mayflower Court. They told us that since the new manager arrived, she is listening to them... Staff felt valued and were clear that they could speak with the management team at any time.

There had been changes and inconsistent management at service level for approximately 4 months prior to this assessment. A temporary manager and new deputy manager had been appointed and were supported by an area management team.
The activities schedule was displayed for people in both an ordinary format and an easy read format. At lunch time staff showed sample plates to help support some people to choose their meal.
Not enough carers at busy times like mealtimes and weekends, so staff get stretched and can't always respond quickly.
