The service had a caring and positive culture. The registered manager listened to people, relatives and staff and addressed any concerns they might have. Staff said... the registered manager was supportive and approachable.
The service was well-staffed with enough care and nursing staff on duty to meet people's needs. The service has adopted a values-based recruitment process... Staff said staffing levels at the service were good.
Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: Staff received the training and support they required to do their job. The service had a training matrix in place that identified when training was due.
People and relatives said the registered manager was approachable and proactive. A person said, '[Registered manager] is always here, he gets stuff done, he's nice.' Another person said, '[Registered manager] is approachable, he sorts things out if I have a problem and does it quickly.'
