The culture of the home was positive... A member of staff told us, 'It's all positive, we all have a joke and a laugh. We want to create a homely atmosphere.' One relative said, 'It's like a little family and they look after each other.'

The registered manager and provider were well regarded and had a clear vision... One staff member said, 'Management support is very good. If you have a problem, it's easy to go and see them. They are always on your side, we are all one team.'

There was an extensive and varied range of social activities... People supported to undertake Princes Trust course, college life skills, Friary Gardeners scheme, church involvement with award nominations, significant reduction in challenging behaviour.
