People using the service and their relatives said they felt safe. Staff understood how to protect people from abuse. The risks to people's safety and wellbeing were assessed, planned for, and monitored. People received their medicines safely.

The staff told us they felt well supported. They had opportunities to meet with managers to discuss their work. There were regular meetings and supervision.

Most staff felt there were sufficient staffing levels. They worked together as a team... The provider assessed staffing levels based on people's needs. People were cared for by the same regular staff who knew them well.

Staff told us they undertook a range of training and could request support with qualifications and further training if needed.

Staff spoke positively about the registered manager, unit managers and nurses. They told us they found them approachable and supportive.

There were a number of activity coordinators at the home working with a lead who oversaw the planning... People told us there were a range of different activities on offer and they enjoyed participating in these.
