Working at Lynwood Care Centre

People were protected against abuse or neglect. There were personalised risk assessments tailored to people's individual needs. Medicines were safely managed.

There was a positive workplace culture at the service. Staff described a good working relationship with the management team... Comments included... '(I feel) supported and really like coming to work'

A small number of agency care workers were used each week where shifts could not be filled by permanent staff, and there was an ongoing recruitment programme.

Staff received appropriate induction, training, supervision and support. The service's records showed a good percentage of staff had attended and completed their mandatory training.

The service was well-led. There was a positive workplace culture and staff felt that management listened to what they had to say.
