Little variety in activities, mostly basic stuff like colouring and reading at home, so the job is routine personal care.

The activities on the board were repetitive and not always person-centred. For example, every person had the same activity written in for Saturday. The majority of activities on other days were house-based, for example, reading; colouring; spelling.

Frequent agency workers because of vacancies, so the team isn't stable.

There were a number of staff vacancies which meant agency staff were frequently employed.

Weak oversight and quality checks miss problems, so management doesn't run things smoothly for staff.

The most recent service manager audit available to inspectors was completed in March 2021 and failed to identify issues found by inspectors... The failure to ensure robust oversight... was a breach of regulation 17 (Good governance).
