Medicines were managed safely... There were no gaps on the MAR charts, however, when we checked the number of medicines in stock against the numbers recorded, one tablet could not be accounted for.
Staff said the support they received in their roles had improved and they were happy working at the service. A staff member commented, 'Management is much better now. I feel I can approach them and express my views.'
There were enough staff available to support people in a timely manner. Staff told us, 'The staffing level is better, we have regular permanent staff and the odd regular bank staff and it is more stable than before.'
Staff completed training the provider considered mandatory and staff training records were now up to date... Staff also completed training in areas specific to people needs including autism, epilepsy, dementia and diabetes.
