Hiring checks had gaps like unverified references and no risk assessment for one worker after criminal records check, though manager fixed them straight away.

Minor improvements were needed to staff recruitment files. For example, some references received had not been verified... no risk assessment put in place for a member of staff who required one. Following... the registered manager took immediate action... put a risk assessment in place.
