People received their medicines on time and as prescribed... However an issue was identified with medicine returns. A large amount of medicines were in an open container... Records reviewed identified improvements were required with how MCA assessments and best interest decisions were made.

Staff were positive about the support they received. They told us they were happy in their work... Work is manageable, it’s good staff team. The manager is very good, gives us clear direction and communication. It’s a good place to work.

People told us there were sufficient, experienced and competent staff who understood their care needs... The providers processes ensured there were enough suitably competent and qualified staff available to meet people's needs.

Staff were positive about the ongoing training and support they received. Training is up to date, emailed when refresher is needed. This week we're having additional training in dementia care and emotional needs.

Staff were positive about the new registered manager, very approachable, supportive, well experienced and gives clear guidance. We all know what our roles and responsibilities are.

The wellbeing activity coordinator told us how people’s interests, hobbies and pastimes were taken into account in the development of the varied activity and well-being programme provided... opportunities to access the local community, the provider had a designated vehicle.
