Staff had completed safeguarding training and understood their role in identifying and reporting concerns of abuse or poor practice. People had their risks assessed, monitored and reviewed. People had their medicines managed safely.
People, their families and the staff team spoke positively about the management of the home. One staff member told us, 'Any problems I'm happy to go the management and feel listened too. Very understanding and gets things done.'
Staffing levels met the needs of people and was responsive to people's changing needs. An example was increasing the night team from two to three staff in response to a higher incidence of people falling at night.
