The service was in breach of legal regulations in relation to people’s safe care and treatment and safeguarding

Feedback from staff was mixed in relation to how supported they felt at the service. Some staff told us there was a supportive culture at the service, however some staff also told us they did not feel supported and did not feel able to speak up about concerns

Safe and effective staffing Score:1 The provider did not make sure there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff. They did not always make sure staff received effective support, supervision and development

Not all staff had received training to meet the complex needs of people they supported. Supervision had not taken place in line with the providers policy

The service had gone through instability in the management team and this had had a detrimental impact on the quality of care provided. There was a lack of oversight and supervision of staff

People had access to activities and were supported to partake in community activities
