Safeguarding systems were in place and helped to protect people from avoidable harm. Staff had undertaken training, in relation to safeguarding... Incidents and accidents were investigated and analysed to identify areas for improvement and learn lessons.
Staff were well supported and knew how to raise concerns, if needed. Staff wellbeing was supported by the management team and provider. One staff member spoke positively about the support they had received, when requesting to change their hours.
We received positive feedback regarding staffing levels within the home. The provider avoided using agency staff, where possible to ensure staff who were familiar to them, were offered extra shifts first. A number of staff had worked at the home for many years.
