People were protected from potential abuse and avoidable harm as the provider and staff understood what different types of abuse could be. However, the system for stock control of medicines was not consistently used as it should be by staff.
All the staff we spoke with said they found the registered manager and provider approachable should they have any concerns. Staff told us about the provider's whistleblowing policy and said they were confident in raising any concerns.
