Risk assessments and management plans had significantly improved and risks to people's safety and well-being were managed through a risk management process. Medicines were managed safely.

Staff worked well together and felt supported by the management team. Staff told us they were listened to, and their views were taken into account.

The registered manager told us they were fully recruited and only used agency staff to cover short notice absences. Records of staff rotas showed planned staffing levels were always met.

Staff had received training in safeguarding and knew how to report any safeguarding concerns. Staff told us they received training in infection prevention and control (IPC).

Relatives told us the new registered manager was approachable and visible in the home. The home was well managed with a new management team who worked well together.

Provision of activities had improved, and people had opportunities to participate in meaningful activities and we saw evidence people were involved in choosing activities and following their hobbies.
