Some care staff behind on basic infection control and food hygiene training.

When observing the training matrix, it was identified a small number of staff were still to undertake Infection Control and Food Hygiene training.

Basic activities only with no coordinator or special programmes to make the job more varied.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: activities on offer were varied and thoughtful and included activities people who lived at the home had requested.

Minor lapses like bathrooms running out of soap and towels, some areas not cleaned on time, and not all staff using protective gear perfectly.

Some bathrooms had not been replenished so items were not available for use... One bathroom had not been cleaned as per schedules... not all staff followed best practice.
