On day one of the inspection we observed staff failing to follow government guidance in relation to PPE.
Relatives and staff said the manager was approachable and communication and morale had improved significantly since they had been in post.
There were mixed views about staffing as agency staff were used to make sure there were enough staff to meet people's needs.
The provider's audit had identified the need to improve staff completion of training to a minimum of 80%.
