Medicines were not always managed safely. Detailed guidance specific to each person on how to administer medicines prescribed as and when people required them, known as 'when required or PRN' was not always available to staff.
Morale within the service was good and the culture was open and relaxed. Staff felt able to raise concerns with managers without fear of what might happen as a result.
There were enough staff on duty each shift to safely support people. Staff rotas confirmed this and during our inspection we saw staff responding to people's needs and requests.
Staff received an induction, ongoing training and regular opportunities to discuss their work, training, and development needs. Staff told us, 'We have so much training on offer.'
