People were safe, protected from avoidable harm. Accidents and incidents were recorded and any lessons learned, shared with all staff. Medicines were stored, administered and recorded safely.

A staff member said, “We are one team, we are all different and we all look after each other.” Staff told us they were confident the registered manager was leading the service well.

Despite some dependence on agency staff to cover leave and unexpected absences, the regular staff told us that there were enough staff and all shifts were covered.

Staff were recruited safely and had received training in all relevant areas. Staff received regular training updates and supervisions were held in line with the provider's policy.

Everyone spoke highly of the registered manager who was approachable and a visible presence throughout the service. Staff told us that the registered manager and wider management team were approachable and supportive.
