Staff were clear about issues that could be indicative of abuse... Staff had received training about safeguarding... Risks... were assessed... People received their medicines on time and in a safe way... registered manager undertook analysis after any incident.

Staff felt they were well trained and supported... they could raise them and be listened to. All staff said they questioned practice if they had any concerns and were aware of the safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures.

There were enough staff on duty to meet people's needs... staffing levels were adequate... Staff vacancies, absences and periods of annual leave were being covered by regular staff working additional hours.

Staff spoke positively about the training they received... 'good access to training'... staff were regularly encouraged to undertake additional training... supported to increase their skills... through completing National Vocational Qualifications.

People and staff spoke highly of the registered manager and deputy... 'The management team are approachable.' Staff had regular supervision meetings and staff meetings were held every three months.
