Staff had received safeguarding training and understood how to recognise and report poor care and abuse. Risks to people’s health, safety and wellbeing were assessed and regularly reviewed.

People told us staff seemed happy in their roles, had time 'To have a natter' and did not rush them to get things done. Staff communicated well as a team.

Safe staffing levels were in place with a managed surplus of staff time to enable meaningful interactions and a range of activities involving individuals and groups.

The provider made sure there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff, who received effective support, supervision and development.

The provider and registered manager were both committed to providing a person-centred, high-quality service. People said that staff, the registered manager and provider were approachable.
