Staff have gaps in training including some mandatory training and specialist courses like Makaton signs and behaviour management.

Not all staff had received the provider’s mandatory training to protect people from improper treatment. Staff had not received any literature or training in Makaton... Some staff had not received the providers preferred training on positive behaviour management or fire safety.

Not enough suitably trained staff on every shift and some agency staff do not follow guidelines.

Medication records have errors like missed signatures and stock problems for pain relief.
