No permanent manager in post, and many staff do not feel listened to or supported by leaders.

There was no registered manager in place, the deputy manager was covering this position at the time of the assessment. We received mixed feedback from staff regarding the running of the service, with many staff members not feeling listened to and supported in their role.

Safety problems like unsafe storage of creams and not learning lessons from safeguarding concerns.

Medication was not always managed as required. Some aspects were managed well... However, other areas required action, such as storage of creams... lack of detailed analysis following some audits. For example, lessons learnt following safeguarding concerns.

No meaningful activities programme or coordinator, so the role is mostly routine personal care.

There was very little evidence of meaningful activity taking place during the inspection. People were supported by a staff team who were generally kind and caring... Staff felt that an activity co-ordinator... would support them to do their job fully.
