Staff told us, “I do feel confident to raise a concern, the management team are approachable” and “I am confident to speak to management if I had any concerns.”

People’s and relatives’ comments relating to staffing levels were variable... observations during our assessment demonstrated there were enough staff deployed during the day in line with staffing levels stated by the peripatetic manager.

Not all staff had received regular formal supervision. The absence of formal supervision can negatively impact staff wellbeing, the quality of care provided and outcomes of people using the service.

Observations on the first day of our assessment demonstrated there was a lack of social activities across the service, with an over reliance on the television.
