Staffing had ups and downs early on, so people sometimes waited for help, even though call bells were mostly answered quickly.

We received mixed feedback on staffing levels. People and relatives told us there had been a period of instability with staffing and some said they had needed to wait for assistance at times.

Activities are still being built up with a new coordinator just starting, so days feel quiet with limited options right now.

People and relatives told us activity provision in the home needed to be developed. The provider had recently appointed an activities co-ordinator who was due to start working in the service.

Medicine records sometimes missed updates on changes, and guidance for extra doses lacked detail.

Whilst people received their medicines as prescribed, we found medicine and care plan records had not always been updated to reflect changes to people's medicines. Guidance for staff on when to administer 'as required' medicines did not provide sufficient detail.
