Staff felt supported and told us morale was good in the service. There was good team work and communication between staff and the management.
A staffing dependency tool was completed for each person in the service, however this was not being used effectively to help inform staffing levels in the service.
Staff were able to access a range of training which included both face to face training from the provider's own training co-ordinator as well as e-learning. There was a clear programme of annual training which included three days of classroom-based learning covering a range of areas such as mental health, dementia, health and safety, and dietary needs.
