Basic activities only with schedules but residents want more variety so the role feels routine.

Activities were being provided. Activity schedules were on display on all units and activities were planned... people told us they wanted more variation which the provider was exploring.

Some agency staff used which adds pressure on the regular team.

Recruitment was ongoing and agency staff were being used in the service. Staff told us there was enough staff to keep people safe, although it was recognised that agency use can add pressure on their time.

Only standard training with most but not all staff up to date, no specialist courses or funded qualifications.

The training matrix showed that most staff had completed all relevant training.
