Where incidents... the registered manager had analysed these... Lessons were shared amongst the team... Staff told us they were encouraged to learn from each other... in a supportive open way."

Staff responses to a recent survey were positive. Comments included, “Harbour Rise is a lovely place to work” and "Happy with everything.” Professionals told us... “a brilliant team”."

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: there were enough skilled and experienced staff on duty to meet their needs. People and their relatives told us staff were always available when they needed them. The staff are never too busy to stop and have a chat."

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: The home's training matrix showed staff had received training in a variety of subjects. Specialist training was also provided... 'Care Champions' in key areas such as nutrition and hydration, Parkinson's disease, dementia and end of life care."

Staff knew their roles and responsibilities and were encouraged to voice their opinions and make suggestions. For example, a ‘Bright ideas’ board had been introduced.
