People felt safe living in the service. Risks had been identified and assessed to ensure that action had been taken to keep people safe. Staff followed good practice guidance to prevent the spread of infection and gave people their medicines safely.
Staff were positive and told us they enjoyed working at the service. One staff member said, "We have a good team and all work together." All the staff we asked said they would be happy with a family member receiving care at this service.
There were sufficient staff to ensure that people were safe. Some staff felt that an additional member of staff would help in meeting people needs in a timelier way.
Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: Staff told us, "The training here is very good." They had been able to complete more advanced training in some areas, such as dementia care, and received supervision as individual meetings.
