Staff completed the mandatory training needed for their role and this was up to date. Their training needs were reviewed... Knowledge checks and information sharing sessions had been introduced.

The manager... well respected by people, family members and staff who found them approachable, communicative and transparent. Staff told us the manager had made improvements... felt able to discuss their views and ideas with them.

introduced a dedicated activities schedule... evidence of a range of activities... card and board games, ball games, skittles, planting indoor seeds, flower arranging, painting... collaboration with the local primary school.
