The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety... Staff attended safeguarding training... On our first visit... 2 minor shortfalls with medicines recording. The registered manager had addressed these issues by the time of our second visit.

Leaders and staff had a shared culture based on openness and trust... strong sense of teamwork. “Everyone is really helpful here, and there is good communication between staff.” “We are a good team; we support each other.”

There were always enough staff on duty to provide people’s care and keep them safe... People were supported by a consistent staff team who knew them and their needs well. “The support workers have worked in this place a long time.”

Staff had access to the induction, training and support they needed... Staff were supported to develop in their roles and to achieve further qualifications. Staff received regular individual supervision.

Staff said they received good support from the registered manager and senior staff. They told us they had access to advice and guidance when they needed it.
