People received safe care... Staff knew people’s needs and ensured people were involved in managing their individual risk... Medicines were managed safely... Staff knew how to raise concerns when needed.

Staff... told us how they all worked to ensure an inclusive culture... One staff member said, 'It is like a family - the staff and the residents, even the families. They are very supportive.' All staff we spoke with were positive and passionate.

Staff said, 'Shifts are always covered by staff that are off, we don’t use agency staff, we haven’t needed to. We are one big family and always help if someone is off sick.' We observed staff were not rushed or task orientated and could take their time.

The management team were all visible in the home and known well by people and their relatives. The staff team felt supported by the registered manager and additionally the registered manager was supported by a hands-on management team.
