Staff had a clear understanding on how to safeguard guests and protect their health and well-being... Medicines were stored, administered and disposed of safely. Incidents and accidents were clearly reported and documented at the service.
Staff said, 'We work as a team, we all want to do our best, we are led by a great management team.' Care staff told us they felt like valued members of the team. 'It's rewarding and a really good place to work.'

All staff received essential core training which included manual handling, fire safety, health and safety, infection control, nutrition and hydration, food hygiene, person centred care, safeguarding and whistleblowing, first aid and Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA). Additional training included management of behaviours that challenge, autism and the principles of working with people with learning disabilities.
Guests, their relatives and staff were complimentary about the management team and how the service was run. Staff spoke positively about the management support and leadership they received from the management team.
